Advocacy Tasmania is a not-for-profit independent advocacy and rights information service. Our vision is for a caring, equitable and inclusive society.
We have a Board of Governance that provides organisational governance and leadership. The Board also determines our strategy and values. It also ensures we achieve our Strategic Plan outcomes.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Leanne Groombridge, reports to the Board of Governance. Leanne is responsible for implementing our strategic plan and for leading the efficient delivery of its services and activities.
We have a team of over 30 employees who are located in all regions statewide.
Whether it’s our Board members, CEO or employees each one of us has one thing in common. We’re all here so that injustices are made right, to fight for the rights of our clients, and to change systems that strip people of dignity and choice.
